It is colorless transparent liquid. Its boiling point is 192℃（1.33kpa）, and refractive rate is 1.4183（20℃）.It can be soluble in some organic solvent such as alcohol , aether , ketone , benzene and methylbenzene. May hydrolyze and form methanol when water or moisture contact with it.

Applications
It can be used as silane coupling agent, antiodorous agent, anti-mildew agent, antistatic agent and surface active agent. In rubber making, by way of improving physical and mechanical performance, it usually is used for coupling the inorganic filler of halogenated rubber.
It can be used for synthesizing the organic silicon compound whose cation is quaternaries.
It can be main material of product silane coupling agent.
